I’m Caroline Goodwin, founder of Midnight Mentor Sleep, and a mum of two boys who’ve both had their fair share of sleep challenges over the years. From bedtime battles to early wake-ups and everything in between, I’ve been there, and I know how overwhelming it can feel. Over time, I learned that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to children’s sleep. My two boys couldn’t be more different, and what worked beautifully for one completely missed the mark for the other.
That’s why everything I share with families is grounded not only in evidence-based practice but also in real-life experience. Every suggestion I make is something I would (and often have!) used with my own children. My approach is practical, flexible, and always tailored to your individual child - because every child and every family is unique.
I trained in paediatric sleep under one of the leading coaches in the field. Before launching Midnight Mentor Sleep, I worked as an Education Mental Health Practitioner for the NHS, supporting children and families across London. I also bring eight years’ experience as a primary school teacher and a master’s degree in Special and Inclusive Education from UCL. This experience allows me to combine sleep science with a deep understanding of child development, learning, and behaviour.
Now, I specialise in helping families with children aged 3–10 build healthy, sustainable sleep routines. Whether your child struggles to fall asleep independently, wakes through the night, or feels anxious at bedtime, I’ll help you uncover what’s behind the difficulties and guide you step by step towards calmer nights.
My goal is simple: to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to support your child’s sleep and restore balance for the whole family.
